Nathalie Rossette-Cazel is an expert in the specialized field of International Public Law. She has worked to implement international treaties by reviewing national legislation, facilitating national consultation and drafting of new legislation. She has experience working with international conventions such as the rights of the child, regional conventions such as Waigani which deals with the control of Trans-boundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal, and has worked for organizations active in humanitarian law.

Dr Rossette-Cazel is an expert in the field of statehood having researched the process leading to the freely associated state status of a developing country. Her professional experience with international legal issues includes development project consulting, employment with International Organizations, Ministries of Foreign Affairs and speaking at conferences. 

As an example, her latest project on the subject of statehood was undertaken in 2013 for the Government of the Cook Islands. 

Building capacity for development. 

LexAct provides services to organizations committed to building capacity of working people and improving the quality of public services. We also work with the civil society and other cultural organizations such as the Alliance Francaise.

We advise staff union executives, review of employment regulations and rules, draft constitutional documents for associations and can assist establish/improve internal legal protection systems including specialized insurance schemes. Examples of clients include the Staff Associations of the African Development Bank, World Health Organization, World intellectual Property Organization, International Office of Migration, The Global Fund, Fortuna, CAP and AXA.
